đź“–Explained: Output File Formats

You can generate mailing labels in multiple file formats. PDF is the most universal format but if you prefer to use Microsoft Word, you can generate the labels using Word (.docx) format. The two formats are nearly identical, the only difference is the program that you choose to use to view and print the labels. Both of these file formats use templates based on the standard Avery label template system. When you purchase labels look for Avery compatibility information to determine which number to use.

If you are not going to be printing out the labels but instead sending the addresses to a printing company you can download the information in CSV format. This is a widely used format that should be accepted by most companies.
