There are three available options for file format. For widest compatibility, select "CSV" - most programs (even MS Excel) can read CSV files. If you know that you will be using Excel, this format may be slightly better because Excel will not need to go through the extra step of converting from CSV to XLS format. dBase is a legacy format and we do not recommend using it unless you have a specific need.
